When news broke that Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett would be starring in an all-woman Ocean's 11 reboot, the internet got pretty excited.
Well, now there's even more cause to be get pumped up: Mindy Kaling and Helena Bonham Carter have officially joined the cast.
No word yet on what type of characters they'll be playing in the films, which ComingSoon.net describe as a "continuation of the George Clooney-led films, with Bullock playing Danny Oceans ex-con sister."
Bullock and Blanchett's characters will gather an elite (all-female!!!) team of thieves to steal a necklace from the Met Ball and frame a villainous gallery owner, ComingSoon reports. At the present time, the working title is "Ocean's Ocho," which means we can expect four more leading ladies to be announced over the coming months.
Shooting is expected to begin this fall. A badass cast pulling off a badass heist? Here for it!
