Following Karrueche's restraining order against Chris Brown, a neighbor is speaking out about the couple's domestic abuse. Kay Cola, a Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter who's also a former neighbor of the two, went on a Twitter rant defending Karrueche's allegations that Brown was indeed abusive to her.
"Some of y'all make me sick to my stomach talking about. Karrueches lying. I've heard him beating her myself. I even called the police. I used to cry over that situation hearing her screaming at the top of her lungs because i am also a victim of domestic violence," she wrote. "I even got into it with Chris because his loud ass used 2 wake up my daughter. He was rude as f*ck & I had known him since he was a kid. The point is, stop defending these assholes and always blaming the woman. It's sad & sick, & is why women don't speak out."
In her tweets, Kay blasts fans for defending Brown and victim-shaming Karrueche. "If you're really a Chris Brown fan u would want him to get help, not make excuses for everything he does. That's real love," she says.
When her credibility came up for question, she explained in detail why she decided to speak now rather at the time of the events, in which she alleges the police were called several times:
Yesterday, news broke that Karrueche feared for her life following Brown's alleged threats against her. The model/actress filed a domestic violence restraining order that stipulates Brown remains 100 yards away from her, her mother, and her brother.
