New York Times Reporter Caught Calling Melania Trump A Hooker

Model Emily Ratajkowski snitched on the writer over Twitter.

New York Times reporter was caught gossipping about Melania Trump at a party after model/actress Emily Ratajkowski snitched on the writer over Twitter, according to USA Today. Ratajkowski says she was offended by what she perceived to be slut-shaming and misogynistic overtones to the accusation. The reporter has since been reprimanded.

Here's Ratajkowski's tweets:

"At a party last night, a Times reporter who does not cover Washington or politics, referred to an unfounded rumor regarding Melania Trump. The comment was not intended to be public, but it was nonetheless completely inappropriate and should not have occurred. Editors have talked to the reporter in question about the lapse," said Times spokesperson Eileen Murphy.

Debate about Melania's sexual history have been ongoing in courts, where Trump has been fighting against The Daily Mail for running an article that suggested she had previously worked as an escort. The Daily Mail has since taken down the article in question.

"Applause to all women around the world who speak up, stand up and support other women," said Melania in a statement on Monday. (Although, let's be clear, that statement is laughable coming from a woman whose husband is actively trying to restrict women's access to healthcare around the world.)
