If you were holding out hope for a Nick Cannon/Mariah Carey reunion, it may be time to let it go. Nick recently revealed that he has no intention of being anyone's husband ever again.
"I feel like marriage isn't for everyone," the Chi-Raq star said in a recent interview with DuJour magazine. "A friend of mine put it the funniest way. He said, 'If you heard that there was a 50/50 chance of living or dying when you jump out of a plane, you probably wouldn't go skydiving."
"There's like a 50/50 chance of a marriage working," he continued. "If it didn't work out for you the first time, and you still survived it, you probably shouldn't do it again."
When the interviewer asked if he ever saw himself heading down the aisle again, Nick's response was simple: "I highly doubt it."
Nick and Mariah divorced in 2004 after six years of marriage. Both sides have said the split was amicable, and the two share custody of adorable four-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan.
You've gotta respect Nick for taking such a realistic view of things and choosing to focus on his career rather than relationships. His latest project is the reality show "Like A Boss," which will follow four celebrity assistants as they try to prove that they have what it takes to move up in the world.
