The world is still reeling following the deadly terror attack at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester earlier this week that left 22 people dead and dozens more injured. In the wake of the tragedy, many celebs are stepping forward to show support for those affected, and Nicki Minaj in particular had a powerful response.
TMZ caught up with Minaj at the airport earlier this week, where they asked her if she was considering canceling any future tour dates due to recent events.
"No, because we don't operate in fear," Nicki was quick to answer. "Nope."
Minaj agreed that doing so would only send the message "that they win," and when the reporter remarked that what she said was a "powerful statement," Nicki responded, "I'm a powerful woman."
"Ariana's my sister and I love her and I love the people of the UK and I'm devastated by the news," she continued. "It's heartbreaking."
The reporter then asked if Nicki would be willing to perform in Manchester, at which point she replied, "Of course I'm gonna perform for my Manchester fans, they deserve it."
