We truly do live in a technocratic nightmare future in which famous-for-being-famous celebrities have public feuds over abstract text message designs meant to convey the last remnants of our non-roboticized expressions of emotions. Ripped from the pages of J.G. Ballard or William Gibson, Kim Kardashian and Amber Rose's latest battle centers around their suspiciously similar emoji keyboard designs. Did Amber mop Kim K's steez?
Last night marked the release of MuvaMoji's, Amber's personalized keyboard. Amber's best frenemy, Kim K., is still raking in the coin from her own app, but that hasn't stopped numerous people from accusing Amber of lifting the idea from the Kardashian Klan leader.
TMZ got the scoop from some mutuals of the two superstars: "Amber's phone has been blowing up all morning about the release of her new MuvaMoji app. We're told everyone can see a ton of similarities, if not exact copies, between several of the images."
Here's a side by side comparison:
Can't two beautiful ladies both make money off the post-modern abstractions of textually conveyed feelings without them being pitted against each other?
Ultimately, it hardly matters if one copied the other, because both are laughing all the way to the bank.
