Rihanna Responds To A Fan Who Purposely Destroyed Their Fenty Beauty Makeup

This is just too much.

Destroying expensive makeup is pretty much unforgivable — just ask any beauty guru. Instagram user Nickole Hoang may get a pass this time, though.

Earlier this week, Hoang posted a video of herself seemingly destroying a ton of Fenty Beauty products, stabbing her highlighter with a fork and later using a lighter to melt the tip of her Fenty Beauty contouring stick.

Don't get out your pitchforks just yet, though — Hoang's experimentation was all for a good cause, Refinery 29 reports. Hoang mixed loose pigment from the chipped highlighter with Farsali Rose Elixir, creating a liquid highlighter that's so gorgeous it'll almost bring you to tears.

Hoang also explained her decision to melt her highlighter, writing, "Heating your cream contour up is actually a great way to get a smoother application. Especially when the weather gets colder, super fast and effective."

🚨Video Alert! 🚨 ✨HIGHLIGHT GAME STRONG✨ FOLLOW @nickole_hoang for more This highlight technique really proves that @fentybeauty Trophy Wife ✨is quality like no other. Hopefully through my experiment you can see how this highlighter glistens like gold sand. Heating your cream contour up is actually a great way to get a smoother application. Especially when the weather gets colder, super fast and effective. I just happened to light 💥mine up. If you are not comfortable with that then regular rubbing with your hands will work just fine.🤗 Check out my latest Youtube 🎥video Link in Bio ____________________________________________________ Products Mentioned: @fentybeauty - Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Primer @fentybeauty - Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation 140 @fentybeauty -Match Stix Trio - Medium 200 - Bamboo, Mocha, Trippin @fentybeauty - Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter Trophy Wife @fentybeauty - Cheek-Hugging Highlight Brush 120 @hudabeauty - Liquid Matte Silver Fox @hudabeauty - Farah lashes @farsalicare - Rose Gold Elixir • • • • • • • • • • • • #KILLAWATT #fentyxpuma #MEANMONEY/#HUSTLABABY#GLOSSBOMB #TROPHYWIFE #rihgram #PROFILTER#FENTYFACE #INSTANTRETOUCHPRIMER #MATCHSTIX #makeupjunkie#FENTYBEAUTYXHN @badgirlriri #maryhadalittleglam #makegirlz #wakeupandmakeup#hypnaughtymakeup #hudabeauty #brian_champagne #glamvids#makeuptutorialsx0x #allmodernmakeup#fakeupfix #hairmakeupdiary#makeupforbarbies #make4glam#makeuptutorial #1minutemakeupxmakeuptutsx #fentybeauty @alyakattan @monakattan @hudabeauty @shophudabeauty @dollhousedubai @priscillaono #priscillaono

Hoang's unorthodox methods received the ultimate seal of approval — Rihanna herself liked the video and left three kiss emojis in the comments.

"I am SHOOK," Hoang wrote in response. "@badgalriri liked and commented on my post. Mine! my tiny little page. I thought my content was so irate it would disgruntle even the brand pages, BUT when Rihanna herself approved — I was floored. She saw through the bad lighting, bad music edit, potatoe quality video. She saw me showing the world how beautiful her Trophy Wife highlight is."

"I truly love the @fentybeauty line," she continued. "The new age of makeup — INCLUSIVITY. I LOVE YOU @badgalriri."

If it's good enough for Rihanna, it's good enough for me. Check out Rihanna's reaction to Hoang's makeup magic below.
