Rihanna's Missing Backup Dancer Is Now In The Hospital
The power of Instagram.
Rihanna put out an APB for her former backup dancer Shirlene Quigley on Instagram on Tuesday. Quigley had gone missing after some odd behavior and strange statements to family and friends. She’d last been seen leaving on a bus to an unspecified location from Port Authority, after leaving behind her cell phone in a Chelsea Bridal Shop.
On Wednesday, the North Bergen Police department announced that Shirlene Quigley has been found and is being treated in a hospital. Once again, the message is relayed via Instagram.
“After an extensive search by North Bergen Police Department Detectives in cooperation with the NYPD, we have located SHIRLENE QUIGLEY. She is safe and at a medical facility which location is undisclosed at this time. North Bergen Police Detectives have contacted her father and he is in route from Los Angeles to reunite with his daughter. We are very pleased with this outcome. We want to thank the New York City Police Department for their tremendous amount of cooperation in this matter.”
Rihanna also updated her Insta to reflect that Quigley had been found as well as her gratitude, writing, “God is so merciful!!! Happy you're alive and safe @shirlenequigley.”
Instagram is the place to be for mystery solving these days.
