Soulja's promoter, Wack 100, is responsible for hooking the two up, and told TMZ that Soulja pitched himself to Holyfield over the phone and convinced him that he's serious about the fight and "knocking out" Chris. Holyfield agreed to whip Soulja into shape, and his first piece of advice? Train harder, and talk less.
As previously reported, Soulja wasn't pleased with Floyd's tutelage, and ranted on social media that he was taking too long to make things happen; he even went as far as saying that he's going to plan and promote the fight himself. TMZ now reports that there aren't actually any hard feelings between Floyd and Soulja, and that both parties understand that it was purely a business decision. And just in case you're wondering — there still hasn't been a date or location nailed down for the fight yet.
