Sources Say Melania Trump Is "Unhappy With How Her Life Ended Up"

Is there truth to the Free Melania campaign after all?

While Donald Trump's presidency already feels characterized by a leaky White House, information coming from sources in Trump Tower are telling an entirely different story about Melania Trump. Seems like our current First Lady is pretty unhappy with her newfound political position.

“This life wasn’t her dream. It was Donald’s,” says Phillip Bloch, a stylist for and friend of The Trumps. “Truthfully, it’s a lot to cope with.”

It's true: Melania has become the target of considerable speculation after her husband's ascension to the role of harbinger of the apocalypse. Facing legal battles, outfit critiques, nasty gossip, scathing impersonations, and political attacks, it's not surprising that anonymous US Magazine sources (take that with however many grains of salt you want, although US skews towards reliability) are saying that “Melania is unhappy with how her life ended up ... She is miserable.”

Melania has always been at least somewhat private, but being thrust into both the public and political spotlights seems to have caused her life to become even more hermetic. Sources now are saying (again: grains of salt!) that she doesn't even take her son Barron Trump to school anymore: “Melania has the Secret Service take Barron ... and retrieve him."

And although Melania seems to enjoys her escapes to Mar-a-Lago (“She loves Palm Beach!” claims one source): “Don’t let her smile in those photos fool you ... She hates this."

Then again, let's not get over-zealous with the sympathy. It was only a few years ago that she went happily along with Trump's insane birther conspiracy theories:

Anyway, Melania's team is countering the rumors with sources of their own who claim that “she is very happy with her life and supporting her husband and family."

Sure! I mean, who even knows, really.
