Stacey Dash Wants To Get Rid Of Black History Month And The BET Awards
Stacey: "If it were the other way around, we would be up in arms. It's a double standard."
Upset about the lack of non-white nominees up for Academy Awards this year? Well, you shouldn't be - not according to Clueless actress Stacey Dash, anyway.
During today's episode of Fox & Friends Dash stopped by to comment on the #OscarsSoWhite backlash and celebrity boycott. In one word? She thinks it's "ludicrous."
"We have to make up our minds. Either we want to have segregation or integration. And if we don't want segregation, then we need to get rid of channels like B.E.T. and the B.E.T. Awards and the Image Awards where you're only awarded if you're black," the Fox News Correspondent said. "If it were the other way around, we would be up in arms. It's a double standard."
"There shouldn't be a Black History Month. You know?" she added. "We're Americans. Period. That's it."
Considering that Dash is notoriously conservative, this isn't surprising in the least. Watch the clip for yourself below.
