Suge Knight Is Suing Chris Brown Over A Night Club Shooting
During the incident, Knight was shot six times.
Another day, another report of bad behavior from Chris Brown. This time it's Suge Knight going after the singer, and it's all because of an incident in 2014.
Two years ago, music industry mogul Marion "Suge" Knight attended a party Brown was hosting at West Hollywood night club 1Oak. During the party, he was shot six times by an unknown assailant; though the gunman was captured by surveillance cameras, Suge's refusal to cooperate with the authorities made it hard to collar anyone for the crime.
Now, Knight is suing both the club owners and Brown for having lax security and allowing at least one armed person into the party, USA TODAY reports. Though the lawsuit does not include a specific amount, it does state that Knight wants the defendants to pay past and future medical expenses for injuries caused by the shooting.
But here's the thing: in 2015, Knight was involved in a hit-and-run turned murder when he ran down two men with his pickup truck, ultimately killing one. He's currently in jail awaiting trial, and his attorneys are now claiming Knight was still fearful following the 2014 shooting at 1Oak, and it led him to flee after allegedly being attacked in his car, which is how he came to run over the two victims.
This is just the latest in a slew of bad news for Brown. His former manager, Mike G, claims that Brown brutally attacked him without provocation and then bragged about it on social media, and just yesterday, Brown's former tour manager Nancy Ghosh came forward, claiming that the reason she quit was because of Brown's aggressive, drug-fueled behavior. Allegedly, it was so bad that she quit in the middle of the tour and demanded to be let off of the tour bus out of fear for her safety. TMZ has also reported that Chris' former publicist just sent in her resignation due to Chris repeatedly calling her a "b****" - over and over and over again.
