'Teen Mom' Star Farrah Abraham Claims An Uber Driver Tried To Rape Her
The folks from Uber are saying there's more to the story, though.
Farrah Abraham, star of Teen Mom OG, has alleged that a Long Island Uber driver tried to rape her last year, Page Six reports.
She made the claim last week during an episode of her podcast, Farrah and Friends.
"An Uber driver almost raped me," she said, shocking listeners.
According to Farrah, she was on her way to a friend's house in the Hamptons when the Uber driver attacked her. Supposedly, her sometimes-boyfriend came to her rescue.
"My non-boyfriend threw him in the window and almost broke his car window," she continued. The cops were called but even so, things still escalated, Abraham claims. "The Persian dude ran after me. The cops were like, 'You're harassing her' and I was like, 'See I told you!' and then I went to bed."
"It was very scary and I was very upset," Abraham told US Weekly.
Uber officials tell a different story, though. According to them, it was Abraham and her "non-boyfriend," Simon Saran, who were the aggressors in the situation.
"We have no record of a complaint from a rider on this trip ever reporting any incident like this," said Matt Wing, spokesperson for Uber. "Her rider account was banned because an Uber driver-partner reported that a friend traveling with her dumped their alcoholic drink on the front seat of the partner's car."
So according to Uber, it was the driver who lodged a complaint, not Abraham? The plot thickens...
