A new CBS documentary series revealed striking evidence in the decades-old case of JonBenet Ramsey. The documentary has intimated that JonBenet's brother, Burke Ramsey (only nine years old at the time) may have been the culprit.
Now, Burke's lawyers are going after CBS for airing testimony from what they consider to be "phony experts" in the hopes of making a profit off a decades-old sensational story. Attorney L. Lin Wood sat down with TMZ to explain Burke's side of the story:
It's unclear if this will result in any kind of law suit.
Meanwhile, Rolling Stone has created a rundown of contradicting arguments in an attempt to debunk some of the claims made by the recently-released documentary. In it, writer Amelia McDonell-Parry claims that the new inquiries into this case "largely relied on the available evidence gathered during the investigation and interviews with members of law enforcement involved in the original case ... there simply isn't enough evidence to name a suspect without a complete reinvestigation."
Will we ever get to the bottom of this? No, probably not.
