Danielle Bregoli is officially having a moment. The 13-year-old, better known as the "Cash Me Ousside" girl made famous after a cringe-inducing Dr. Phil appearance, has been enjoying some serious viral sensation stardom in recent weeks, and she's been making bank, too.
According to TMZ, Bregoli will be making an appearance at Miami's Rolling Loud festival this year for a meet-and-greet, and she's taking home a hefty paycheck to do so. The outspoken pre-teen will be pocketing $40k to show her face at the summer hip-hop fest, and she also cut a deal with the owner of the company throwing the festival to host her 14th birthday party (she'll get a portion of the ticket sales).
As if that wasn't shocking (and anger-inducing) enough, Bregoli's reps told TMZ that 30k is the bare minimum she'll accept to do U.S. appearances; if she has to leave the country, the price gets upped to $40k.
Does it concern anyone else that this young girl is learning that it (literally) pays to be disrespectful? You're not the only one. Danielle's estranged father, Ira Peskowitz, has set up a GoFundMe campaign called "Save Danielle M Peskowitz 'Bregoli.'"
Peskowitz, a Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputy, is attempting to raise $50k to cover "fees associated to legal expenses to get her the proper help she needs." Peskowitz lists his goal as giving Danielle the chance to "have a happy and healthy life in a stable home with a strong positive future," so it looks like there may be a custody battle brewing. According to TMZ's sources, though, Danielle has no interest in getting to know her father; her mother has had primary custody of her since she was 18 months old, and she thinks Peskowitz's recent moves are all about money.
Sounds like a messy situation all around.
