What was sure to be the messiest boxing match in history has officially been canceled.
After weeks of trash talk, social media feuding, and even diss tracks, Chris Brown and Soulja Boy aren't going to fight after all. As previously reported, the two had agreed to settle their differences via a televised boxing match and were even training with legendary fighters Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield, but that was all for nothing. According to SB, the fight is off, and it's all because Chris isn't cooperating.
Soulja Boy took to Twitter yesterday to announce to his followers that he doesn't want to be asked about the fight anymore, and it isn't happening because Chris won't sign the contract.
"Chris brown manager call my manager last night sand [sic] said the fight is off and he's not signing contract. Don't ask me about the sh*t no more," he wrote.
That was remarkably restrained, coming from Soulja Boy. What the hell was in that contract? Prior to this statement, SB was ruthlessly taunting Chris about not signing the proper paperwork on Twitter, but now he's backed off completely. Is there something else going on here, or what?
"Can't believe this n---a scared to fight me sign the contract Bitch Ass n---a set up the boxing match," he wrote early on. Check his many taunting tweets from the day prior below.
