Never miss another text message, and look good while doing it. Smart jewelry brand Ringly has invented beautiful rings that alert the wearer of incoming and missed calls, or messages from their phone.
According to Elle, Christina Mercando designed her line of rings and bracelets--made with real gemstones--after seeing a need for fashionable wearable technology. "I wondered if I can take all the stuff I wear on a daily basis that doesn't do anything and have it actually help me," she said. Ringly pieces connect through the phone via Bluetooth. They change color and vibrate based upon specific notifications set by the wearer. "Nobody would ever know you're wearing technology," said Mercando.
The pieces all come with their own charging box. Most rings sell for $195. Watch the video below.
