TLC Recanted Their Kickstarter Promise, So Twitter Unleashed #TLCIsGoingToJail
We'd rather just have a new album, though.
So here's the deal. Back in January, TLC created a Kickstarter to help record their final album without a label. Their original goal was $150,000, but the group was able to raise $430,000 (Katy Perry even dropped 5k). The group's Kickstarter page promised a new album at the end of 2015, but now they're singing a different tune, having announced that the album will be ready in 2016.
Fans aren't happy, to say the least. And Twitter? Is going in. People have gathered under the hashtag #TLCIsGoingToJail to air their grievances in the most hilarious ways.
