Tracy Morgan Cancels Mississippi Show To Protest New Anti-LGBT Bill
The comedian is one of many entertainers taking a stand.
Add Tracy Morgan to the ever-growing list of entertainers and celebs taking a stand against anti-LGBT legislation.
As part of his comeback stand-up tour, Morgan was scheduled to perform in Tunica, Mississippi. Rolling Stone reports that Morgan has since canceled his appearance in protest of the Religious Accommodations Act, which allows businesses in Mississippi to refuse services to LGBT customers.
"Tracy did not make this decision lightly," Tracy's rep said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. "He very much looks forward to rescheduling his tour dates in the area after the 'Protecting Freedom of Conscience from Government Discrimination Act' is either repealed or heavily amended."
Your move, Mississippi.
