Want To Get Coffee With Ivanka Trump? It'll Cost You $50,000

"No autographs are allowed."

Ivanka Trump! She's often considered the smart, feminist sister of the Trump scions but what are her intentions, really? No one has a clue. Now, intrepid investigators into Ivanka's motives can invite the future First Daughter out for a coffee date... for the price of $50,000.

The money made from the date will go to the Eric Trump Foundation, which is exactly as shadowy and nebulous as you think it is (although it claims that it is "dedicated to helping terminally-ill children at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital").

The date actually started as an auction. Bidding began at $8,000 for a chance at 45 minutes and a photo with Ivanka. The bidding is ongoing, but the price of the sit-down was up to $24,000 earlier today. The estimated value of the date, of course, is where the $50k comes in.

Potential coffee partners will face a criminal background check (like, duh — doesn't everyone background check their coffee dates?) and will be examined by the Secret Service. The meeting will be held at — wait, I bet you can guess if you think about it — yup, Trump Tower (or the Trump International Hotel) between January 1st, 2017 and January 1st, 2018. According to Time: "Ivanka Trump will not provide transportation to the meeting." Bidding ends on December 20th.

You can check out the CharityBuzz listing for the date over here.

My favorite detail from this, by way of Vanity Fair: "No autographs are allowed."
