Watch Laverne Cox's Screen Test For The 'Rocky Horror' Reboot

"Don't judge a book by its cover."

Back in October, most of The Internet was pretty angry at Fox for reinventing a queer cult classic as a family-friendly made-for-TV movie. We weren't quite as down on the project as the rest of the World Wide Web. Now, almost two months later, Out got a hold of Laverne Cox's screen test for the Rocky Horror reboot, making it easy to tell why they thought casting her would be a great idea.

Sporting a black hoodie and a tight pleather corset, Laverne looks about as ready for a night out at GHE20G0TH1K as she does for a sexy intergalactic adventure. Cox's reimagining of Frank 'N' Furter as a half-Jamaican, half-Transylvanian glamazon is already on display, long before she was even actually given the role.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s Do The Time Warp Again will be available on DVD on December 6.
