Is it possible that Danielle Bregoli — better known as the "Cash Me Ousside" girl — isn't as terrible a rapper as everyone assumed she'd be?
Bregoli dropped her first single last week ("These Heaux"), and followed that up with a remix of Kodak Black and XXXTentacion's "Roll In Peace." Video of Bregoli in the booth recording her remix started circulating online this week, and it's...not terrible?
Up is down, down is up, and nothing makes sense anymore. Whether you like Bregoli or not, you can't deny that she's managed to take her fame as a viral video star and monetize it, possibly even using it to launch an actual career, and that's not an easy task.
As for the lyrical content, Bregoli hits the usual topics (haters, money, the perils of fame, etc.), but also attempts to show a smidge of depth, touching on her relationship with her estranged father by rapping, "My daddy ain't buy it/He left me in private/And tried to come back when he seen I was shinin/But f*ck him, I'm grindin'."
