"White Women Shouldn't Date Black Men" Fliers Found On College Campus
Racist fliers showed up at Southern Methodist University. SMH.
Racist fliers have appeared on the campus of Southern Methodist University urging white women not to date black men. The fliers were found Sunday and include hateful arguments against interracial dating.
The college's campus newspaper, The Daily Campus, reports that the racist propaganda includes ridiculous statements like black men are “much more likely to have STDs” and that “your kids probably wouldn’t be smart." The fliers, which feature smiling blonde women next to grim-faced black men, argue that black men are “more likely to commit every type of violent crime than whites."
The flier contains a watermark by Alt Right, which is described as a “set of far-right ideologies, groups and individuals whose core belief is that "white identity" is under attack by multicultural forces using "political correctness" and "social justice" to undermine white people and "their civilization.”
The college's president, Gerald Turner, sent a memo today to all faculty, staff and undergrads addressing the issue: "Anyone committed to living a life of denigrating others in some misguided effort to elevate themselves should find another place to live,” he wrote. Similar instances of racism have occurred on campuses around the country.
