Young M.A. Is The Reason Why Headphanie Hennessy Is Now A Thing
You call it Hennessy? This company calls it "Headphanie!"
The hottest rap song is Young M.A.'s "OOOUUU." The most famous lyric from the viral hit references the made-up word "Headphanie." Like M.A., you can have your own Headphanie as an alcoholic drink.
According to Fader, Headphanie Hennessy is a very real thing. The special edition come in a pretty purple bottle from Florida clothing brand Lilac Company. The company shared on Instagram that the cognac will be available in Florida and online starting tonight.
If you've been living underneath a rock, Young M.A.'s infamous lyric is about scooping up a girl: "If that's ya chick, then why she texting me?/Why she keep calling my phone speaking sexually?/Every time I'm out, why she stressing me?/You call her Stephanie? I call her Headphanie," she raps.
So who is Stephanie? Apparently, not a real person. You don’t have to be named "Stephanie" to be a Stephanie," the Brooklyn newcomer, who counts fans like Beyonce and Nicki Minaj, tells Billboard. "It’s just basically a girl that’s real slutty and doing a lot of inappropriate things."
Lilac claims the bottles are currently sold out. Check out its website for updates.
