Police arrested an 18-year-old for allegedly holding 11 people hostage at an Alabama credit union branch with a Marksman Repeater BB gun on Tuesday, after he tried unsuccessfully to rob the bank, AP reported.

Cedrick Lamar Collins was charged with robbery and kidnapping charges after a two-hour standoff between the teen and police officers. No one was injured in the incident.

The branch is across the street from the University of Alabama, and university officers handled the situation.
