Although specifics seem a bit vague, it seems that two men were engaged in "sex acts" on a Bed Bath & Beyond display in Clifton, New Jersey, according to USA Today.
Police responded to a call about the incident, leading to the arrest of two 28 year-old men who were charged with lewdness, criminal mischief and possession of marijuana.
While public sex is great if you can get away with it, it's less great is that one of the two men was found to have scabies and potentially exposed both officers and civilians to the skin mites. Officers who handled the arrests were placed on leave to deal with the potential outbreak and the booking center was fumigated. Similarly, because both men have (other?) unspecified health conditions, their anonymity is currently being protected.
The BB&B in question has dumped the potentially contaminated display. They have issued a statement emphasizing that they take "the safety of our customers and associates very seriously" and find this incident "extremely upsetting ... Out of an abundance of caution, the incident-related merchandise and display was immediately pulled from the floor and discarded."
