Three college students have been busted for running a high-priced prostitution ring in Coral Gables, Florida. Samara Charlotin (pictured below, right), 19, Acacia Friedman (pictured below, left), 23, and their male friend Maury Noun, 21, appeared in court on Thursday. According to NBC 6, a local station, all three are facing numerous prostitution charges and Charlotin was charged with cannabis possession and possession of Oxycodone.
CBS Miami shares that the trio was caught when Noun brokered the deal with an undercover officer at the Hotel Colonnade.
According to the police report, Noun would get $3,000 for hooking up patrons. The fee was $5,000 for having sex with both girls.
Judge Mindy Glazer asked each individual suspect what they were studying. “I am a biology major and a minor in criminal justice,” said Charlotin. She attends Florida International University while Friedman and Noun attend the University of Miami.
“Maybe it is a good thing you got arrested," the judge warned the trio. "Maybe you will change your way… lead a new path. Focus on school. You’ll do well."
