Police have arrested three more people in connection to last week's London Bridge terrorist attack. The incident left eight dead and more than 40 injured. According to a statement by the London Metropolitan Police, two men were arrested on a street in Ilford and another was apprehended at a residential address there, per ABC News.
A 27-year-old man was arrested for allegations of the "preparation of terrorist attacks" and a 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs. The other suspect, a 29-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of the preparation of terrorist acts.
Police have arrested other suspects over the days following the June 3rd attack.
As reported earlier, suspected attackers Youssef Zaghba, Khuram Shazad Butt, and Rachid Redouane were killed by police during the incident.
According to BBC, 17 total arrests have been made with five in custody. New footage shows the three suspects who were shot.
