An Arizona flight attendant for American Airlines was arrested on charges that he filmed men and boys using public restrooms through a peep hole, KNXV reported.
On Dec. 30, Gordon Nobriga, 50, tried to leave the country when officials searched his cell phone and found videos of men and boys using a restroom.
Nobriga told ICE’s Homeland Security Investigators that he purchased the video from a store, but officials determined that the video had been taken from a Walmart store in Phoenix. Surveillance video allegedly showed Nobriga entering the bathroom multiple times over a two month period and spending hours inside. He was charged with nearly a dozen counts of voyeurism.
Nobriga, who said he had been a flight attendant with American Airlines for sixteen years, was arrested May 25 as he exited a flight. He is still working with the company while American Airlines investigates the claims, ABC reported.
“We take this matter very seriously, and have been cooperating with law enforcement throughout their investigation,” American Airlines said. “Since this case is a pending criminal matter, we must refer all questions to Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Phoenix.”
