We love the cast of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop as much for when they do bad as for when they do good. One cast member, however, is bad a little more often than the rest, and when we say bad, we mean breaking the law. Gossip website TMZ broke the news that an arrest warrant has been issued for Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Karen “KK” King, for failure to make payments on her luxury Maserati automobile, and it's far from her first dust up with the law.
Law enforcement officials said the warrant was issued after King went five months without making a payment on the car, which she bought in 2014. Repo men have reportedly been trying to track her down for months, but after coming up short time and time again, the dealership went to the police. So far, she has still eluded authorities. It was her second arrest of the year, after she was charged in May with financial identity fraud, theft and first degree forgery, after buying nearly $5,000 worth of merchandise at an Atlanta Saks Fifth Avenue department store under an assumed name.
Karen King and her sons William Cortez Robinson, a.k.a Scrapp Deleon, and Lyndon Ahlik Smith, a.k.a. Sas, joined the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta cast for seasons 5. In 2012, all three were arrested for the kidnapping and attempted murder of her then-boyfriend Lyndon Baines Smith, Sas’ father. They were featured on an episode of the television show America’s Most Wanted, which led to their capture. However, the charges were eventually dropped due to lack of evidence. Scrapp Deleon is currently in prison on marijuana trafficking charges.
