This current season of Bachelor In Paradise continues to attract controversy in the wake of a scandal caused by claims about the ability of one contestant to consent to an intoxicated sexual encounter. Production on the season was halted and an internal Warner Bros. investigation was conducted. The studio claimed that after reviewing the evidence and seeing no misconduct, the show would resume production. The fates of DeMario Jackson (who claimed his character was assassinated by accusations) and Corinne Olympios (the alleged victim) on the show remained unclear.

Now, TMZ reports that DeMario does not plan on re-joining the cast of the program. Sources say that DeMario was invited back on the show but declined. They also say that DeMario is currently suffering from anxiety and has begun seeing a therapist. He finds it unforunate that despite being cleared of wrongdoing by Warner Bros., his name will continued to be linked to scandal.

DeMario reportedly plans on pursuing a career as an on-air personality and is done with reality TV.

TMZ adds that sources say it is highly unlikely that Olympios will appear on the show or any other program in the Bachelor franchise again. They say she has not been invited to return.

Warner Bros. has made no official comment on the future of either participants.
