Conor Kennedy—Taylor Swift’s Ex And RFK's Grandson—Arrested In Bar Fight

He may have had an understandable motive.

Perhaps Taylor Swift has another person to write a song about.

Her ex Conor Kennedy—of the Kennedys—was arrested Dec. 29 in Aspen, Colorado for a fight outside a nightclub.

Kennedy, the 22-year-old grandson of Robert F. Kennedy, was charged with disorderly conduct after police saw him punch a man in the head four or five times. He was so fired up that he even struggled against the police officer who tried to hold him back.

He may have had an understandable motive, however—he apologized to police after the fight was broken up and said that the other man in the fight “called my friend the f-word.”

He is the son of Robert Kennedy Jr. and Mary Kathleen Richardson, who died of suicide in 2012. He briefly dated Swift in 2012.

Kennedy was released from jail after being issued a court summons. He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 22.
