A Eureka, California man was arrested for allegedly shooting another man with a flare gun loaded with a shotgun shell filled with cereal. Timothy Glass Jr., 29, was arrested in the incident, according to police press release.

On Wednesday, a man sustained a single gunshot wound to his hand. Glass left the scene on a bicycle following the incident, according to police. The victim was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for the non-life threatening injury to his hand.

Glass was found and detained in a marsh area. Police said he resisted arrest, leading to the minor injury of a detective.

The victim told police that he didn’t want to press charges. Glass was then booked into jail for resisting arrest and probation violation.

Police said the shotgun shell was filled with Rice Krispies.
