The Sundance Film Festival, held in Provo, Utah is the largest independent film festival in the United States. It’s long been a party destination for Hollywood A-Listers, movie power brokers and those that like to rub up against them. It was there last January that a 20-something woman (not pictured above) alleges she was picked up, plied with drink and drugs and forced into a rough, three-way sex romp with a well-to-do NYC couple who have just been arrested. The woman said she met the couple, Anne Hardcastle (pictured below via Instagram), 27, and Michael Taylor, 45, at a Park City, Utah bar while they were in town for the festival.
After buying her a few rounds of drinks, they invited her to a Sundance After-Party but first stopped by their hotel where they gave her more drinks and a hit of the drug ecstasy. They then asked if she wanted to have a threesome with the couple. The victim says she wasn’t interested and texted friends to come pick her up but the next thing she knew she had blacked out. The following morning she woke up in bed with Hardcastle, bruised, with scratches across her back, hickeys and but marks all over body and intense vaginal pain.
She fled to the hospital to be treated for her injuries and while there was sent a direct message via Instagram by Hardcastle, who said, “You said you liked it rough and so I gave you what you wanted.” After contacting the authorities, detectives advised her to remain in touch with the couple to piece together all the dirty details of what happened that night. The kinky couple was arrested last Friday at their tony Soho digs and are being held without bail until they can be extradited to Utah. Hardcastle is being charged with object rape and forcible sodomy, while Taylor, is charged with object rape and forcible sexual abuse.
