Criminal Who Uses The Name "Tupac Shakur" Was Arrested For Felony Assault

The criminal has weird similarities to late rapper.

Tupac Shakur was arrested for felony assault with a deadly weapon...but it's not the guy you're thinking of. As TMZ shares, a criminal arrested last month in Los Angeles has a striking resemblance to the superstar. The 45-year-old's arrest documents show he has the same full name (Tupac Amaru Shakur) and date of birth (June 16, 1971) as the late rapper.

Before fans get excited and begin wondering if this is Tupac resurrected, it's not. Law enforcement says that the suspect's real name is not the one he used when he was booked. He's used the famous alias "Tupac Shakur" in several arrests—which is how police have caught onto him—but his actual name is Clarence Campbell.

Can the real Tupac please stand up?
