When a passenger on their flight from Hanoi to Seoul began violently acting out, 80s pop star Richard Marx and former MTV VJ Daisy Fuentes felt compelled to step in, aiding in a confrontation between airline staff and the passenger that they say went on for four exhausting hours in the sky.
A series of photos that the couple posted shows a female flight attendant pointing a taser at a passenger and Marx holding a thick rope.
"On our flight from Hanoi to Seoul a guy sitting in the next row from us got crazy & started attacking the flight attendants & passengers," Fuentes wrote in an Instagram post. "When he started pushing the female staff and pulling them by the hair @therichardmarx was the first to help subdue him. This went on for FOUR hrs."
"I feel horrible for the abuse the staff had to endure but no one was prepared for this," she continued, criticizing the Korean Air staff. "They never fully got control of him. They didn't know how to use the taser & they didn't know how to secure the rope around him (he got loose from their rope restraints 3 times)."
Fuentes promised to post video from the trip as soon as she could. The passenger was arrested as soon as the plane landed, according to TMZ.
Still, for many people, the weirdest thing about all this will be learning that Daisy Fuentes and Richard Marx are married.
