The sexual abuse trial against Bill Cosby is just around the corner, but the famous comedian appears in good spirits. TMZ spotted Cosby outside of the courthouse in Montgomery County on Monday with his lawyers laughing and smiling with his lawyers. He was apparently in court to finalize details on what the jury will hear in his upcoming trial.
The Associated Press also caught Cosby leaving court:
As we shared earlier, the highly-publicized trial revolves around allegations by Andrea Constand. She claims that Cosby drugged and molested her in 2004. The two settled the case out of court in 2006, but Pennsylvania prosecutors have reopened the case after new evidence emerged from previously-sealed documents.
Last year, Cosby tried to sue Constand for breach of contract. As USA Today shared, the two struck a financial settlement when the case was previously settled. He wanted her to return the money she received because she had violated the terms of the deal by cooperating with the police. He later dropped the charges.
More than 50 women have accused Cosby of sexual assault and drugging. This trial against Cosby is slated for June.
