Larry Allan Keiser of Pennsylvania apparently drank a bit too much before calling police this past weekend. According to Lehigh Valley Live, Keiser had no emergency to report, but just really needed someone to talk to.
The first call was placed around 10:30pm on Friday. "Keiser indicated that he had no emergency and that he just wanted to speak with a police officer," troopers said. Apparently, he just wanted to chat.
Five more calls came through before officers began to suspect something more suspicious might be going on. One officer went to Keiser's address to check on him. Although he had consumed five beers, Kaiser seemed fine enough. When asked if he wanted to have an ambulence called, he responded, "F*ck no." He later explained that he was upset about a family situation.
Despite being told to stop calling 911 unless there is an emergency, at around 12:15am, exactly one minute after police left, Kaiser called again. At that point, police arrested him for intentionally calling 911 for other than emergency purposes, disorderly conduct and harassment. He is free after posting $5,000 bail.
Come on now, there are better people than the cops to call when you are lonely.
