In the aftermath of the shooting of NYPD officer Miosotis Familia, Facebook users have filled the page of her killer with messages of violence. According to the NY Daily News, people have written all over 34-year-old Alexander Bonds' page, cheering his death and demise.
“You took a woman of color away from her 3 children just because of her occupation. How wicked,” shared one user. “This is a cowardly and terroristic act and now cops will be even more on edge and quick to shoot thanks to your dumb ass. Enjoy hell.”
Another user added, “He died of lead poisoning."
As reported yesterday, Bonds walked up to 48-year-old Familia's police vehicle and executed her with a bullet to the head. A showdown with police ensued following the unprovoked attack. Bonds was shot and killed.
According to New York 4, Bonds allegedly expressed anti-police sentiment online in the past. He was on parole for a robbery case in Syracuse, per police sources. He had been arrested six times in New York City, including a 2001 incident in which he kicked and punched police officers while wearing brass knuckles.
Familia was a 12-year veteran of the NYPD. She is survived by three children.
