The saying "beauty is pain" got its day in court. On Monday, Oneal Ron Morris was sentenced to 10 years in prison (and five years probation) for injecting several women with toxic substances in their butts in Florida. Morris pled guilty to the injections—performed even though Morris is not a doctor—and a manslaughter charge, stemming from the death of 31-year-old patient Shatarka Nuby.
CBS Miami reports that several women shared horror stories in court about how Morris injected them with things like "super glue" and Fix-A-Flat to enhance their derrieres, instead of actual medical-grade silicone.
“You gave us your word that the products you was using was A-1 products. And come to find out they were not,” said victim Kisha Jones. “Maybe in the beginning, but greed really took over, because you was pocketing the money from every victim.
Nuby died while serving time in a Tallahasee prison. Her mother spoke out on her behalf. “My daughter died the most inhumane death, 18 months she suffered with not knowing the full of what he put in her body,” said Sherri Pitts.
