A former police dispatcher and his wife were arrested on charges that they sexually abused a 7-year-old girl, WFTV-9 reported.
Floridians Tyler Bush-Conn, 28, and his wife, Talisha Bush-Conn, 27, were arrested last Tuesday after a girl claimed on Monday evening that she had been abused by the couple on multiple occasions as early as 2016.
The girl told her grandmother about the abuse after she was caught looking at pornography on a computer, according to The Orlando Sentinel.
Tyler allegedly had sex with the young child multiple times and took lewd pictures of her, police said. His wife also engaged in a sexual encounter with the girl, police claimed.
One abusive sexual encounter between the adult and the child was so forceful that she threw up, according to an affidavit obtained by The Daily Mail.
Tyler told the girl "that if she ever told anyone, he would hurt her,” police claimed.
He also allegedly confessed to police that "he has a sexual interest in children and has felt these desires since he was young," according to a charging affidavit.
Tyler Bush-Conn is charged with sexual battery on a victim under the age of 12 and lewd or lascivious molestation. Talisha Bush-Conn is charged with being principal to sexual battery on a victim under the age of 12, lewd or lascivious exhibition, child abuse, and child neglect.
Additional charges are likely forthcoming, according to investigators.
The couple has two children, who have been taken in by the Department of Children and Families. The pair is currently separated.
