Gun-Wielding Mannequin Challenge Video Leads To Police Raid And Two Arrests

Police took notice when a viral video was posted to Facebook with people in a mock gun battle.

Since emerging a couple months back, the Mannequin Challenge has thrilled social media as celebrities and regular folks alike film themselves freeze-framed in a moment of mid-action. A particularly ambitious group of Huntsville, Alabama residents filmed an almost minute long video of themselves caught in the middle of shot-out, 22 people in all.  They posted it to Facebook, unfortunately though, among the likes and shares were local law enforcement who decided to perform a SWAT team raid on the property Tuesday.

Authorities say they confiscated a computer, marijuana, two handguns, an assault rifle and a shotgun, as well as several rounds of ammunition and magazines in the raid. Kenneth Fennell White, 49, faces charges of first-degree possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm by a violent felon, and is being held on $30,000 bond. 23-year-old Terry Brown is being held on $3,800 bond and faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, loitering and promoting prison contraband. Police say they expect more arrests related to the video will be made.
