Don’t write checks you can’t cash. That’s what someone ought to have told lowlife criminal Noah Dassat after her broke down the front door and assaulted a family in North Port, Florida. Fortunately for the family, which included three children, Mom and Dad knew how to handle themselves and fended off the incompetent home intruder with his own weapon, a baseball bat.

It all happened last Thursday when the 33-year old Dassat came knocking on the door of the family’s home looking for someone named “Josh” that owed him money. After being told he had the wrong address, the creep went berserk and kicked in the front door and attacked the family of five with a baseball bat. After being hit, the male resident disarmed Dassat and put him in a bear hug. The occupant’s wife then picked up the fallen baseball bat and beat the assailant around the head with it. Dazed and bloodied, Dassat managed to make a hasty retreat and was picked up soon after at a local hospital where he was trying to receive treatment for his injuries. He has been charged on four felony charges and one misdemeanor for armed burglary, battery, and criminal mischief.
