A dozen inmates broke out of an Alabama prison Sunday night, and one of the 12 is still at large.
Eleven of the escapees were captured after the jailbreak from Walker County Jail in Jasper, according to a press release from the Walker County Sheriff's Office. Still missing is 24-year-old Brady Andrew Kilpatrick. He was imprisoned for drug offenses. Police offered a $500 reward for information leading to his arrest. Anyone with information is urged to call (205) 302-6464.
Of the escapees, two had been jailed on attempted murder allegations. The others have been accused of crimes ranging from burglary to drug possession. After the dozen broke loose, police asked residents to stay indoors and turn on all outdoor lighting.
It remains unclear how the inmates escaped from the jail.
