The 41-year-old son of disgraced college football coach Jerry Sandusky has been arrested on child sex abuse charges. Jeffrey S. Sandusky is accused of soliciting sex acts and nude photographs from two underage girls, as reported on His father made a name for himself as an assistant coach under famed Penn State football coach Joe Paterno, before being convicted on 45 counts of sexually abusing boys he met through the charity he founded, and is currently serving a 30 – 60 year sentence.

According to court documents, the two victims were two girls, ages 15 and 16, with whom Jeff Sandusky had daily contact. Last March he attempted to solicit nude photographs from the 16-year-old, and then told her not to tell anyone after she admonished him. In 2013, he attempted to solicit oral sex from the girl’s sister, who was 15 at the time.

Jeffrey Sandusky was charged with solicitation of statutory sexual assault, solicitation of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, six counts of unlawful contact with a minor and two counts each of solicitation to photograph or depict sexual acts, sexual abuse of children and corruption of minors. He was also suspended from his job at the State Correctional Institution in Rockview, Pennsylvania, and held on $200,000 bail.

Jeff Sandusky is one of six adopted children of Jerry Sandusky and his wife Dottie. He stood by his father during his trial, even after his brother Matt revealed that he too had been sexually molested by the elder Sandusky. Upon hearing of his brother’s arrest, Matt told NBC News "He should not see the outside of a prison cell for the rest of his life if these allegations are true."
