A woman was allegedly shot by her husband in a Seattle Uber on Sunday.

Cameron Espitia, 31, is being held on $3 million bail for the murder of his wife, 29-year-old Jennifer Espitia.

According to CBS News, their Uber driver told police that the pair began arguing. At the time, Jennifer was sitting in the front and Cameron was in the back seat. The driver said that Cameron cursed repeatedly at his wife before shooting her. Cameron then ordered the driver to keep driving. Eventually, he ordered him to pull over, and Cameron fled.

Jennifer was shot in the head and died at a hospital, according to the report.

"The execution and the style of manner that this was done gives the state grave concern," a prosecutor said in a CBS affiliate KIRO report.

Police arrested Cameron, who told police that he and his wife were drinking and not having a good night. He claimed he woke up in the bushes and didn't know what happened, with only a faint recollection of being in the Uber, according to CBS News.

The couple had only been married for a few years, CBS affiliate KIRO reported.
