While the British Isles may not have the gun problem we have in the United States, criminals are no less tough, and usually pretty handy with their fists. Video footage caught one brazen bruiser tossing around a couple of cops like rag dolls before being subdued and arrested. Meanwhile, his two accomplices made their escape, one still in his handcuffs.
Glasgow, Scotland has long been known as a cradle of gang activity, drug problems and soccer hooliganism. Police in the area stopped three men last week suspected of drug possession. In the middle of being arrested, one of the three men attacked the police officers, throwing one to the ground and repeatedly punching the other in the head. If that wasn’t bad enough, while the police were dealing with him, the other two suspects ran away. They can be seen fleeing from the scene, one of them still in handcuffs.
While a cowardly group of people stand around and film the incident on their phones, reinfrocements come and the man is eventually subdued. The police report that all three men were eventually taken into custody and charged with a litany of drug offenses.
