Bridalplasty was a hugely controversial show from 2010 in which hopeful brides-to-be competed in various wedding-related challenges for the chance at winning plastic surgery to make them more desirable for their husbands. Now, a former contestant on the show has been found dead.
After going missing, Lisa Marie Naegle's body was found buried at the home of a man who eventually confessed to her murder. Lisa Marie had been working as a teacher at a nursing school.
According to NBC Los Angeles, Naegle was last seen leaving a party on Sunday morning. A missing persons report was filed on Monday. The man who saw her last, Jackie Jerome Rogers (who attended the party with Naegle) was immediately considered a suspect in the case. Police searched his home and eventually found Naegle's corpse buried in a shallow grave on his property.
Rogers has confessed to the murder.
"We begged and pleaded that he'd come to our home to kind of give us details on what time, where were things, and when he left her, but while he was talking to us and telling us his story, multiple different times he said he absolutely did not go home with her, or did not take her home," Lisa Marie's sister, Danielle Naegle-Kaimona, said.
TMZ is reporting that Naegle "was struck 7 times in the head with a hammer early Sunday morning."
