Police in Memphis, Tennessee have issued a City Watch alert for a teen girl who was possibly last seen in Walmart with a scratch on her neck, looking nervous.
According to the alert, 16-year-old Tai’yanna Strong left her home over a week ago. She might have been seen at Walmart on Friday morning with a man in his late teens or twenties. The alert said she had a fresh, deep scratch on her neck, and that the girl appeared nervous.
“In my mind, she is where I don't want her to be and that's in some type of danger,” said her father Alvin Strong in a WMC Action News report. Strong was grounded by her parents before she went missing.
For the last week, her family has searched for Strong, taking to social media to spread the word.
“I just told everybody share, share, share,” the father said. “I need all my Facebook friends and family to be attentive and looking out.”
Tai’yanna is described as a 5-foot-8, 130-pound black girl with black hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. The man she may have been seen with is described as a 5-foot-10 black man who has a muscular build. He is clean shaven and has a curly fade hairstyle. His vehicle is described as a gray or black car with tinted windows and chrome rims.
