A Navy sailor who was stationed at Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base in Georgia is has been indicted on a charge of sexual exploitation of children.
Christian Henderson, 23, was arrested on Friday and is being held without bond, according to News4Jax. Last October, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation cybercrimes unit began investigating Henderson after they suspected he was downloading child pornography.
Henderson allowed agents to search his computers and cellphones for child porn. He went into the restroom during the search and allegedly deleted child porn from his phone. Some child pornography were still allegedly found on one of Henderson’s cell phones.
He allegedly admitted to investigators that he downloaded and saved child porn, according to the report. He also said he sent child porn photos and videos to a website called Chatstep. When asked why he downloaded the videos, Henderson allegedly told investigators that curiosity had gotten the best of him.
